Its monococque - or one-piece - Omega case achieved high water resistance ratings by not having a separate case back.

Powering the watch is Omega's top tier caliber 565 with 24 jewels (seven more than in many similar Omega's) and quick-setting date, one of the last superior 500's series movements used before Omega began trying to reduce their costs.

But what makes this watch even more pleasing is its incredible original condition! It is fully original and in new-old-stock condition with only slight storgae/handling wear. It doesn't show any signs of ever having been opened and has never been polished. The original factory applied protective lacquer is still intact. It is a true "time capsule" accompanied by its original Omega sales tag.
